Privet Everyone! It’s finally spring time which means the flowers will begin blooming, and there will be new styles to obsess over. To celebrate spring I’m thinking that this show I saw at Vancouver Fashion Week suits the new season perfectly. Elina Ten’s Eco Couture Collection is all about florals. The clothing reminded me of a fantasy world, where the outfits would be seen on women attending a debutante afternoon tea party. Can you imagine those tea parties during the Edwardian and Gilded age? And the scandals women would discuss? These days it would be all about booty size.

Elina’s collection INsideOUT UPsideDOWN incorporates ancient silk art and nunofelted techniques that produce vibrant colours, textures, and involves a lot of emotion. Her collections are often about transforming the wearer into a painting, think of it as the artistic concept of wearable art. Not only are her collections visually stunning they are eco conscious. Elina often works with organic and natural silks, wools, bamboo, and linens that are sustainable materials. The clothing she creates in her 3D art design studio in Richmond Hill, Ontario Canada, are seamless, reversible, soft-shear and have an airy texture. Anyways, enjoy the collection 🙂
